Severn Beach Line
According to ticket sales data, passenger numbers on the Severn Beach Line grew by 6.8% in the year to 2016. This growth is due to improved revenue collection and in part to increased ridership.
There was no SCRP June count in 2016 due to difficulty in obtaining the personnel to carry out the count. The November local authority count showed a lower rise in passenger numbers of 2.8%.
The above figures are taken from the June passenger count organised by Severnside Community Rail Partnership, the November passenger count organised by West of England Partnership and FGW ticket sales.
